Amidst The Redundant Notes Of 500 & 1000, Pops Up Karan Johar’s Badrinath Ki Dulhania’s First Look
Alia Bhatt-Varun Dhawan starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhania’s first look is out. The duo looks casual, chic and ‘tilted’in Karan Johar's next...
While everyone was busy digging in their wallets to find out how many 500 and 1000 notes they possess, Karan Johar quietly slipped in Alia-Varun starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhania’s first look on the social media.
The film, starring his students Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan together for the 3rd time, sports an easy breezy look in the film. Clearly the two play cool urban characters. The film is being directed by Shashank Khaitan, who also directed their Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
Alia Batt and Varun Dhawan recently returned to Mumbai from their Singapore schedule. They had earlier shot the first schedule of the film in Kota, Rajasthan.
Both have had a pretty long schedule, but Alia had to quickly get into her promotions for her upcoming flick with Shah Rukh Khan, Dear Zindagi, directed by Gauri Shinde. Alia has anyway been doing quite a bit of to-and-fro from Mumbai to Singapore. A few days ago, she had dropped in for about one-and-half day to be with her mother Soni Razdan on her 60th birthday.
While the buzz suggested that Badrinath Ki Dulhania is the sequel to Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), both Alia and Varun have rubbished the rumours time and again. Reportedly, Badrinath… revolves around Badrinath, a boy from Jhansi, his ‘dulhania’ (bride) and the issues they go through. The film, being produced by Karan Johar under the Dharma Productions banner, will hit theatres in March next year.
Post Badrinath… Varun would begin working on Judwaa 2, which will be directed by his father, David Dhawan. The father-son duo had earlier worked together in Main Tera Hero (2014), which also featured Ileana D’Cruz and Nargis Fakhri in pivotal roles.
